  • da5e8d9bb8 Update BBB configuration for Debian 9 SSH access to a BBB has changed as of Debian 9, with the user needing to login to the debian account instead of root. Furthermore, the addition of the config-pin utility has simplified spidev setup considerably, with the device tree overlay files no longer being needed. References to the BBB screwdriver have also been removed, since it appears to no longer be maintained.

Update BBB configuration for Debian 9

Configuring a systemd service is probably a bit outside the scope of this tutorial, so in that case I think I'll just remove this line and leave it up to the user to configure their system if they want this.

Alright, so I added a comment about root and groups and whatnot. I don't know if we should do anything else about the slew though.

The default user account has non-sudo access to all these commands, so I don't think that anything needs to be added.
