day man, aa-aaaahhhhh. savior of the glare by css. day m~ oh right. it is nightman, not dayman. ... i just like the dayman song better.

wtf is nightman

nightman is a theme for your browser to make it less glare ridden at night.

MY EYES!

oops, sry, some bright bits remain.

i dont see them all with my other addons n brower customisations.

so if you want (me) to get rid of a stray bright bit on some site

please advise me (Digit) either/both:

in #witchlinux (or wherever else you see him) on irc.freenode.net

and/or

here on Digit/nightman#4

... because i might be hiding from the light with curtains drawn and a towel over my head.

scrots

so what does it look like? here, at time of commit, on notabug.org's recent update, it looks like this:

see

... and kinda the same everywhere else. you'll have to try it to see how "kinda".

How

you'll most likely want to use stylish. with stylish addon installed, I typically (in firefox): -click the stylish icon in toolbar and click manage styles (or go to about:addons, and click the stylish side tab) -write new style -paste in nightman.css contents n save -enable

there are likely better ways to do this. that's just how i roll. ^_^

Firefox

stylish for firefox

Opera

stylish for opera

Chrome

stylish for chrome

Others

I'll add these later. Browsers like uzbl etc., though you're probably smart enough to figure that out yourself. ;)
