[uses-nonfree] recommends binary blobs
Some recommended drivers require nonfree binary blobs
Patches
hplip-revert-plugins.patch has been taken from Parabola and recreated manually because the original one does not work with XBPS (conversion to -Np1 did not work). Reason for that may be that some chunks were already applied on latest source.
An accompanying hplip-revert-plugins.patch.args file containing content -Np1 is made.
Template
Some code has been taken from prepare() function of Parabola's PKGBUILD and put into post_patch() function.
An example template file is included although it may be outdated. The changes to the template are in l_template_changes.patch.
