I am not sure about adding a possibility to hide the saved tab. Being able to save (and view) movies on your device is one of the primary features of the application.
By the way what is it for? Is it a replacement for watchlist or see-it-later list or both?
Yes it is a replacement for the watch(ed)list. It will also include more categories (as is visible when using the filter) but it's still WIP (which goes for most of the ux_rework branch).

Yes, it's weird to provide a possibility to hide the saved tab and not others. That's why I suggest to add an option to hide others tabs too.
For example, I don't use personal lists and I usually don't see TV shows, so I would like to hide these 2 tabs. Other users may have different needs.

The possibility to hide tabs has been added in commit d98d9b98c7. You can select the tabs you want to hide in the Settings.
