simplenotebook

Write things, store, and search for them using the standard Unix stack! simplenotebook turns any GNU/Linux stack into a blogger's brainstorming platform.

Planned for development are:

• Simple versioning system.
• Encryption of the notebook based on gpg.
• Exporting to MarkDown and HTML formats for easy publishing.

There is no plan currently to make possible the syncing of notes in a "cloud" manner, but you could always try SyncThing or a similar service manually.
