	I found where I want to settle in in my new Minetest world, assuming I decide on a mapgen v7 map.
	There is a very nice dungeon at (-115, 20, -980) that sometimes spawns completely intact.
	One room, and only one room, spawns above ground and looks like the entrance to a bomb shelter.
	The inside is fully-usable as well, and it&apos;s a perfect dungeon specimen, at least when the map generator doesn&apos;t level it, cutting off the top room.

<p>
	Someone on <abbr title="Internet Relay Chat">IRC</abbr> showed me an interesting tool for converting music files to <abbr title="Musical Instrument Digital Interface">MIDI</abbr> files.
	It&apos;s <a href="http://www.ofoct.com/audio-converter/convert-wav-or-mp3-ogg-aac-wma-to-midi.html"><abbr title="Service as a Software Substitute">SaaSS</abbr></a>, so it&apos;s not worth doing anything important on, but it&apos;s interesting to see the effect it has.
	The tool converts the music to piano music, but it comes out so awful that it&apos;s hilarious.
	On some songs, you can still almost hear what the vocals are saying though, despite the vocals being converted to piano like everything else.

<p>
	<abbr title="Musical Instrument Digital Interface">MIDI</abbr> files are a pain to play though.
	I couldn&apos;t find a way to play them using normal music players, though I did find a command line player that handles them: TiMidity++ (<code>sudo aptitude install timidity</code>).

	My <a href="/a/canary.txt">canary</a> still sings the tune of freedom and transparency.
