these shall be the scripts that will convert between the text of a file format that can display the colours of its pixels in text, like .ppm can, and the config files awaiting the colours.

... or maybe they'll be patches...

i've not got a clear plan yet.

only just recently figured out ppm are a suitable file format.

... still supposed to be resting and rejuvenating and mending... not supposed to be geeking. heh. ... burn out is no fun.

have moved from ppm to xpm, ... scripts are a mess of testing versions in local directory... back "soon" with:

• the working scripts to convert xpm to stripped text to config.h, for a start,

then later with

• config.h to text to xpm
• other config formats to text to xpm
• (xpm to) text to other formats

just making note of progress here, to remind me to pluck out the cleanest latest working one from the noisey glut of test scripts, and leave it nice and clean and clear here for a commit without clutter. :)
